The other day, I was looking in vain for awesome albums at the music store, when I chanced upon an album cover with what looked like Chris Martin’s face on it.
Holy mother of Viva La Vida, I said. Chris has a solo album!?
But then, upon closer inspection, I discovered that it was James Morrison. Yeah. Sometimes it sucks that they look so much like each other. They’re both awesome, though.

I think this essentially captures the band’s “message” to everyone who listens to their music:
“My song is love, love to the loveless shown. And it goes on; you don’t have to be alone.”
It’s simple and beautiful and the melody is perfect - I especially like the falsetto and the climax when Chris sings “And I love you, please come home” - and it drives home a nice message - and I think this is what all good songs should be like. :)
Here’s the shirt I was talking about. My sister had it made for me as a late Christmas present. :)
I wore the Coldplay shirt that my sister had made for me yesterday at school. It had the logo for MX on it.
And what do you know? Nobody recognized it.
Sigh. I might be the only Coldplayer in UP Diliman.

I bought these last Wednesday as a late Christmas present to myself. They cost a thousand pesos all in all.
(Oh, and if you were wondering, that large yellow book under the CDs is my Chem book. Maybe it’ll give you an idea of how excruciatingly back-breaking being a Science major is.)
One of the reasons why I think X&Y is still their best album yet. The first time I heard this, I got chills. :)

What if all those quality Coldplay blogs were really their blogs and they were just pretending to be hyperactive fangirls?
